What is Aerolase (TM) Neo and Why Are We Obsessed?

If it feels like all we talk about anymore is the Aerolase Neo, you're not imagining things. We can't help it. This laser has completely changed what we're able to do for our clients, in a way that I didn’t think would ever be possible.
Most people hear "laser treatment" and immediately picture days or weeks of redness, peeling, discomfort, That used to be pretty accurate for a lot of lasers, and really, still is. But Aerolase Neo is a different experience, and that's what got my attention in the first place.
So What Makes It Different?
Traditional lasers create heat in the skin over a longer period of time, which is why they tend to come with more discomfort, more redness, and more downtime. Aerolase Neo uses 650-microsecond technology (stay with me here), which basically means it delivers energy so quickly that there's significantly less heat buildup in the surrounding skin. The result is effective treatment, way more comfortably, and a recovery that most people barely notice, if at all.
What Can It Actually Help With?
This is the part that gets me really excited. Aerolase helps with acne and acne inflammation, redness and rosacea, pigmentation and sun damage, melasma, fine lines and collagen loss, enlarged pores, uneven texture, unwanted hair, and overall skin rejuvenation, including lip plumping!
It covers a LOT of ground, really really well. (click here to go to the FAQ’s where I’ve listed all 36+ FDA cleared indications)
Okay But Is It Actually Comfortable?
I know, I know. We were skeptical at first too. So skeptical, that I asked Heidi and AP to be a demo model with me…and we all had really good experiences. I didn’t feel anything but warmth. Heidi experienced a bit more snap, but said overall it was comfortable and didn’t linger. Worth it. And AP said he was warm but was more than willing to do it again and just kept looking at his skin all day going “I think it just keeps getting….better…and better?!” As I’ve been demoing on clients, they’ve also told me that it's way more tolerable than they expected or had experienced in the past with other lasers.. Most people describe it as warm, quick, mildly snappy, and very manageable.
What About Downtime?
This is one of my favorite parts. Most clients leave a little pink and glowy, and then just... go about their day. No hiding at home, no intense peeling, no regretting your decisions. Just skin that progressively looks healthier and healthier.
It's Safe for More Skin Tones, and this MATTERS.
I need to talk about this one because it's a big part of why I chose Aerolase specifically.
A lot of traditional lasers come with more risk for deeper and melanin-rich skin tones, and for people who experience melasma. Excess heat can trigger unwanted pigmentation changes, which means many people have historically been told laser treatments aren't a safe option for them. Aerolase's technology allows us to safely and comfortably treat a wider range of skin tones, and that was non-negotiable for me as someone who firmly believes if I treat skin, I need to be able to treat all skin tones and types, not just the ones that look like mine. Can I have specialties, sure, but inclusivity in skincare is something I believe in.
The Results Are the Kind I Love Most
You know the kind of skin I’m talking about. Not overdone, not overfilled, not "what did she have done?" Just healthy, smooth, glowy, quietly radiant….no makeup needed skin..
That's what Aerolase does. It's about helping your skin function better, look healthier, and age more gracefully. Clients notice brighter skin, smoother makeup application, less redness, tighter pores, and this overall freshness that people usually describe as "you look really rested lately." (my favorite!)
Where It Fits Into the Bigger Picture
More and more, people are moving away from harsh, aggressive treatments and toward options that support long-term skin health. Healthy collagen, a strong barrier, even tone, refined texture. Aerolase fits right into that approach, which means it works with your real life, not against it.
